Looking to ride near Blind Bull Sum - No idea where to stage

Hey all,

I've ridden near Spring Creek Divide but never up north near Blind Bull Sum. Me and a couple of buddies are headed up there from Utah tomorrow morning and have no idea where the best place to stage is. We're hoping for as little trail/road riding as possible to get to the good stuff. We're not set on Blind Bull Sum but it looks like the most snow?

Any help/guidance would be appreciated!!

Unload at the Sherman (Horse Creek) lot.

Be aware, snow pack conditions are still very sketchy.

That occurred yesterday and its basically right by the "shortcut" everybody takes to avoid a portion of the main trail towards Blind Bull.

That is good to know. I've been watching the avalanche conditions and have seen that their "Considerable".

How do you get to Sherman? How many miles of road riding?

That site basically has all the info ... how many miles of road riding depends on snow conditions and what you want to do, but most folks head in 15 miles or so towards blind bull then head north, south or west from there.
