okay its going on the calander as a ride for the 23rd of march
i am thinking depending on turn out we may want to split into a couple groups from the hotsprings and head up
maybe a 13 and under group and a over 13
we need to make a plan for what we want to accomplish, and teach them
I think basic preide check on their sled
gas
oil
spare belt
etc
trail rules
and at the warming hut maybe some fun avy beacon training
hide a beacon and have them work together and locate it??
of course hot dogs and burgers at the warming hut we will supply the cook!!
I think i done right this could be a fun yearly event and could really help to grow the sport
most of all I want the kids to be grinning and talking about it for days after

Went and spoke at club meeting tonight at Gull. Were you there? Was hoping to meet you.
I spoke right after Stan talked about legal issues and Sled Warriors and preserving riding areas for the future.
Excellent lead-in to Kids Ride discussion.
Everyone seemed positive and those who responded were helpful.
Bill Evans suggested having ground zero/home base right at Packer. If there are 120s in there, that's a lot better than taking them 10 miles to the Warming Hut. Excellen point.
Avy training exposure for ANYONE!!
Riding techniques for like-able groups (young and old).
Trail rides to Hut or Moose Loop, etc. Start and end at Packer.
MotorFist has spoken to me. Would like to be involved.
I spoke with Coyote Girl on the way home tonight. Excellent help there.
Raffle ideas...proceeds to Sled Warriors/Great Burn.
No kid leaves without something to take home.
I am going to try to figure out how to start a Facebook event page.

Nice one Mikey! LMAO! What's up with you anyway? It's been awhile. Damned you Scott for that pic anyway! That was a fun day, even though I had trouble making it out of the parking lot. Damned new skags....thankful for 12 lbs. of boost, and I think I used all of it! Ha!Rookie!

Oh, in addition, we had several people that had never been on snowmobiles before, including a mom who came alone with her son and a certain avalanche instructor. 
Was a great day. Not sure i can eat another cheeseburger for a few days.
