k2500 vs k3500

4WD.

Would you consider a K3500 Dually? What do the K3500's weigh?

Some of my SOCAL friends say they slide more than 4 wheels in the snow BUT I figure if you put chains on all 4 rear tires it would pull pretty well in the snow?

Not sure u could fit chains on all four tires? Not a lot of room between the duals...

I think the biggest problem with dually's and winter traction is, the type of tire people run on them. Ur limited by the size and most people air them up to 80psi.

Get a good set of ur favorite snow tires on there and run lower pressure, its not to bad.

They make a set of dually tire chains for both tires 2 sets chained together.

Personally, I would never do a dually unless I was hauling something huge. They are terrible when you get off road and ride on a road with "wagon wheel" trenches. They are a chunk to park and require 2 more tires when you buy new ones. I drove a dually for years at work and I was happen when we got back to a SRW truck.
