You don't HAVE to have a '08 to race semi-pro, we will allow 440's in semi-pro. I would imagine quite a few riders will be running 600's in the semi-pro though.
It will be interesting to see the 440 vs. 600. I saw some guys put thier mods back in trailer and just run 440 stockers last year.
Semi-pro entry will be $70-$75 and all payout is done at the track. We did mininum 75% payout last year.
If we could draw decent #'s riders would get pretty good $$
example:
20 riders x $75= $1500 in entries= $1125 in payout
1st= $562.50
2nd= $337.50
3rd= $225
40 riders would double that
Don't know how that compares to a regional race??

Going off Duluth national entries, our payout would be:
Semi-pro stock-60 entries
1st= $2250
2nd= $1350
3rd= $900
Semi-pro mod-65 entries
1st= $2437
2nd- $1462
3rd= $975
Wish we could get manf. to offer contingency, although Polaris contingency for a regional race is $100 to first place only,2nd & 3rd = $0

Weyerhaeuser is only about 1 1/2 hr. from Duluth, might be getting another track close to Weyerhaeuser too
Winter is about 2 hrs.
I was hoping on a race at planet-x this year, Steve sounded interested last year but said NO this year....hmmm?
Talked to Spirit Mtn. last year and they had their hands tied with the WPSA contract not allowing them to have another race with another promoter, they were going to try to have it taken out of thier contract.
If anyone knows of another location closer to Duluth I could contact let me know.

**Our Feb.9 date will be in Marshfield,Wi
Hoping to finalize locations by end of week
