At the end of last season I had the same issue and found some holes in my crank case my sled was idling at 4k now the other day I jumped a snow drift and came down really hard. My shock seals toast. When I went to slow down the sled stayed idling high. I inspected everything and my throttle bodies seemed loose so I tightened them and its still running the same. I'm not finding any air leaks could the hit have thrown my tps off

Anything is possible and the TPS is easy to check; having said that, I've taken some pretty big hits without my TPS moving.

I'd recommend checking the throttle while the sled is off; can you move it throughout the entire range? I've seen the cable separate before not allowing full motion and when this happens you can have high idle.

Did you check for leaks around the PTO seal? Mag seal?
