Idle / TPS adjustment - Need some help

I recently purchased the meter from Indy Specialties to adjust my TPS. I did the baseline and idle settings per the instructions and what I have read on snowest.

When I was done. My sled was idling around 2200. It hadn’t been that high before.

I then messed with what looks like an idle screw - see the photo below.

The idle came down. But I have been wondering. Did I make a big mistake messing with that screw?

If so, what should the screw be at. So I can redo the TPS settings?

Thanks for the help!

……..
I think that’s your throttle body sync screw.

Remove the TB’s from sled keep cable attached to TB’s but out of throttle block.

Back off the actual idle screw. (On the magneto end of the TB’s)

Get on the other side of the TB’s from a light.

Make both flappers close off the light at the same instant.

Reset idle off watching the meter and adjusting the idle screw.

To add another question….. any idea if there would be a setting the meter would read while I messing with the screw I circled in the photo? As in trying to put it back to where it was before I messed with it.

This is the meter I have now.

If you adjusted the base setting.

No.
