Guido that sled looks like it will rock was really looking forward to riding with you and Bruce at cooke but its not going to work for me to be there so have fun and dont wreck that thing.

thanks for the compliments on the sled...i wont have this one ready. should be by the 900 Revy ride (begining of march)...ill be riding my 06 900 in my sig in the meantime

well all is looking good so far on my 06 900...i might be able to get out and ride it monday, tues, thurs and make sure all is well.

on sat (5th) i am goingt o Seeley Lake, MT and do a 3hr ride on a Demo 2011 Pro

so at least ill get to ride something, lol.

if all is good, i wont touch the 06, her 06, and all my money and time will go to the 05 975 and get it broke in for the Revy ride...i need at least 300miles on it to break it in before Revy...

i need support, lol...and money please!!

got the 975 TM3 assembled today..

apparently im missing one of the long cylinder bolts..so ordered one of them..

also 2 of the 4 MAG side exhaust valve housing bolt threads are stripped out, so need to fix that..nothing major...just a minor set back is all.

i have been waiting for Witchhunter (injector testing company) to get back from vacation so i can send them the injectors to clean/flow test/rebuild...they were closed from Feb 1st-Feb 15th...so after those are done, i will install the motor.

I assembled the skid as well, its ready to be installed...

just need to install skid, get longer fuel lines for the trail tank pump, R&R the nose/fender plastic thats broken and install motor and ill be done.

so after the 900 Cooke City ride next week, i will get cracking on this baby and hopefully get it done, and test ran before Revy so i can bring it there as well.

$19 each injector...they flow test them first to see where there at, clean them, rebuild them and flow test again and give you a before/after spec sheet...

they are excellent, and usually get them in the mail and have them shipped within 2 days...

thats dirt cheap! I will pick up some extras off e-bay and have them done for my sleds. thats pretty cheap insurance for such a vital component.

small update on this.

--3 of the cylinder head threads on the MAG side cylinder are stripped out (from prior owner) so i am going to go with head studs..

--waiting for cash to send the pistons to swains tech coatings for the dome/skirt coating (about $100 total) and assemble the engine...AGAIN

--my ice age rails are at the powder coaters now getting coated in Glass Black...being done as a favor, so should get that back this week..

--going to powder coating alot of things bright red on the skid and throughout the sled (small parts) to get a little color on this baby...

--need to finish trail tank mod/install and assemble sled after powder coating and i should be good to go.

also hung out with Derek Fischer when I was in Utah over the 4th of July, he has a Carls 975 complete sled for sale (PM for details if your interested) that runs on pump gas...derek did a custom cut on the 975 head and with his Gen 3.5 fuel controller its a RIPPER, so since i have 2 975 heads, i will send him one to get cut for pump fuel...otherwise its a 50/50 Avgas/pump gas mix...which can get $$.

Got my 166 Ice Age Rails back from the Local Powder Coaters today, just traded some stuff for the work!! SCHWEEET...

came out awesome...

High Gloss Black...I will be powder coating the wheels, and torque arms High Gloss RED in the Skid to make it really POP!!!

finally got some time to work on my rear skid, sandblasting SUCKS...lol.

powder coated the torque arms and wheels in red, with some misc parts..i love how it looks...

did the ski bolt washers, Holz Gas Rack, tie rods...will do a FEW more little parts on the sled but not too many so its simple and still mainly black...

hope you guys like it...

no dave this sled is just the 05 Carls 975 BB.

the pumkin gets the turbo (06 900)...

but ALL my sleds are bumper eaters....i only went through 4 bumpers last year, so not too bad...LMAO!!!
