My old truck was able to slip the lockup clutch in 6th and later 5th. I'm sure if I had upgraded the converter, it would have helped. However, "while you're in there" takes over and here we are.. now with a 2015 F350 6.7

Difficult to find under $26000 for a 06 Chevy Duramax Allison Crew Cab LTZ 2500HD Long Bed 4WD 6.0 diesel with 150000 miles. Guess it is good to go … cant find any issues on chat sites.
So is it really worth double?
All stock as far as exhaust, tune, motor, trany, etc.

If they can verify the mileage guess its time to pull the trigger.

I had a 2006 LBZ.... did all the injectors and a turbo between 90k and 200k. It needed a transmission when I sold it.
It was a good truck, but the transmission was it's glass jaw. I did the entire front end at 90k when I bought it and it was still tight at 200k when I sold it. The trans might be good with stock power, but anything over that and kiss your lockup clutch goodbye.
What's your budget and intended use of the truck?
Expanding search to DODGE !!!!
MEGA CAB or regular crew that is the question? Guess MEGA only comes in a short bed. Trying to figure out turning radius. 2006 last year with only smog on exhaust. Following years added EFR , DEF etc.
Wow now you're really lowering your standards! Lol.
