At 1/2 the cost of the OEM belt I am trying these this year. I have heard great things about them. SKS uses part # 377288 or gates # 44C4553 which is the same size as the 1115 or 1183 Polaris belt.

Gates all-new G-Force C12 belt: a revolutionary breakthrough in CVT belt design. The first belt of its kind with a carbon tensile cord for exceptional strength, flexibility, durability and performance in the most demanding off-road conditions. Engineered for drop-in performance for ATVs, UTVs, Side by Sides and Snowmobiles.

Minimal stretch with extraordinary strength under load results in consistent shifting RPM
Allows for maintaining peak power throughout the shift curve
Wears evenly to reduce belt failure due to edge cord pullout
High performance neoprene with a trapezoidal top-notch and rounded bottom cog design maximizing heat control and flexibility
Carbon tensile cords are bonded to aramid fiber loaded rubber with specially formulated adhesion gum resulting in increased side-load resistance, preventing belt distortion and edge cord pullout
Gain optimal power transmission for faster acceleration, improved throttle response and consistent shifting performance

I ran one on my 15 RMK LE last year and it operated flawlessly. I got about 800 miles on it before the end of the season and it was still going strong. I purchased one for my 16 Axys a couple of months ago but we still have no snow here in the northeast so it'll be a while before I get a chance to try it out.

One deep snow ride before my belt came apart.. less than 50 miles for sure.. Polaris stock belt now has three backcountry boondocking trips without failure.

Is that a carbon? I have had the same thing happen with 2 brand new Polaris belts as well. One blew right away the other one didn't. I am more worried about performance if any thing like RPM dropped with the aftermarket.

I'm sure Gates makes the Poo belt. I've run nothing but Gates belts since I bought my first pro in 2010, no way I'd ever pay what Poo wants for one!

I'm trying the gates belt this year also, no snow yet so can't say how it works.

trying out gates this year as well. we represent hem in the hvac market here in boston, didn't realize I could buy their belts, but I can. my costs make it worth the try. I'm trying the carbon and none carbon models.

standard (non-carbon) belt just showed up. if ever get any snow I will be able to try it out.

I think there is a chance that blown apart gates may have been on a sled with out of spec deflection. Any belt will blow if overheated in a certain section by being overly tight. Anyone else with any experience with them?

These belts working out on the axys? Thinking of grabbing one at least for a spare.
