G4 e start drive gear

Manual says that engine removal is required to replace starter gear. Has anyone done this in the chassis? If so, how much trouble is it?

Has anyone given you a suggestion?

By the way, there are two (2) gears involved with the electric start system.
A starter motor pinion gear and a primary clutch ring gear.
Which gear are you asking about?

Pinion gear. It was doable in the chassis.
