look at the numbers and the ratio for 180 is no good for mountians on 1200

renegade 1200

517 dry
+25 turbo, intercooler, charge tubes, guages etc...
+15 longer 144 track, extended rail, tunnel lengthened
557 dry

LB per HP ratio is more than 3

a stock xp (at 2.9 LB per HP) will walk all over this setup in the mountians and in the trees when it is chest deep

Well, in our group we don't like to pull them around operatorless and dry. Just not as much fun that way. I know it adds weight, but we put gas in the tank, a rider on board, heavy winter clothes, extra pack of gear, fill the rear susp clear full of snow, as well as try to line the tunnel full of ice if possible. So let's just add 300more #'s up there for comparisons for our crew...

557 + 300 = 857/180 = 4.76/1

What dry numbers are you wanting to werk with on the 800?

I am sure the machine goes a lot better dry and riderless.... OK - well I KNOW they go a LOT better riderless, but not for long it seems... :face-icon-small-dis But we just don't use ours that way too often.

The sleds actual weight may be a variable, but there is not the only value in the equassion...

Thows numbers dont show the Torque number ratio. Horse power meens nothing without torque excsecialywhen you are comparing the work load of a big rig,

My 1200 163 XR hands down turns a less track speed, but at 5 pounds of boost will blow the 880 163 pants off.

Things i have to turn into a sidehill with the 880, I can blow straight up or through on the 1200. It wont win any drag races but flat out will spank the 2 smocker.

And I can boondockit through the trees in the steep and deep just as effectivly as I can with the 880.

The 880 is good to have on the days the snow is like concrete.

Now If i go big boost with the 1200, well that would be the perfect sled.
12 pounds on pump fuel would be ideal.

Just like any of the MCX kits there rated at 7800 rpm and are always LOW the 180 kit will make close to 200.
the 240 kit will make around 260 at 8100 and 278hp at 8300.
And there 300+ kit made 368 yesterday at 22 Ib's of boost.
