Thought i'd share with you guys ..

pretty simple to make with hand tools in the garage, can't beat the durability of a pelican case, no need for a fab shop and fairly inexpensive

Pelican 1500 case
5/8" alum rounds drilled and tapped
linq connectors
square U bolt mounting the case (2 3/4" inner width)

Yes the third set is for the removable snow flap they are not as wide as the gas can ones or bags.

I did something similar. Went with a knock off pelican. Only cost me $65 including the linq pieces.

Not yet.

In hindsight I would’ve used square tubing and just drill and tap them.

Finding the perfect size square U bolt is becoming a challenge lol.

After looking at your post before that is what I was thinking about doing. Just use rectangle bar stock and then bolt that to the box.

Redid the cross bars.

Much better and cheaper this way!

I was gonna say, why don't you drill between the cross bars and use a bolt and fender washer.
