Cleaning old wrap glue off sled

I have just removed a full wrap off my new to me sled and before I use some of the solvents in my shop is there an easy way to clean this sled?

While we are on the cleaning subject...what is the preferred way to clean the oil and grunge from the engine compartment? I have it tore down some so don't really want to pressure wash it and gunk kind of stinks and isn't doing a great job on the plastic areas.

WD-40 will remove the glue with out hurting the factory finish. They also have products like Goo-Gone you can buy.

Simple green in a spray bottle works good for cleaning the engine area.

I'm a big believer in gas. Lots of safety measures need to be followed but by-and-by it is the go-to solvent.

As for cleaning the bottom of the pan, I found Simple(ly) Green a total waste of money. Purple Clean worked better and I would use varsol the next time.

ive found PB Blaster works really well on lots of adhesives. Rub some on liberally, let it sit a minute or so, itll soften up. Then wipe up with a wrag wet with PB.

The 3M adhesive remover would be best bet tho
