Broken helix in 2013 sexondary

Was having some trouble holding RPMs on my 2013 925 proclimb, decided to rebuild the secondary and found a broken helix post. From the wear and discoloration, it's clear that this is not a fresh crack, looks like it's been this way for quite a long time. Had I found this before I bought all the parts I might have swapped to the Team clutch. Is this common?

It's not that uncommon. Especially if a helix bolt starts coming loose. Thunder products has Hercules helixes that are much stouter built.

Hercules helix is the ticket. The clutch is prolly worn out so a new helix will only bandaid the problem. I recommend buying a complete new clutch,
