/ thread.Lol. I've never bitched about skidoos being to heavy. But you'll hear me bitch when my s mod breaks.
Last I heard rocks were harder then aluminum. It was a lot faster then 20 mph sorry to say. This is the price you pay when you ride early in the year. I learned the hard way and totaled a new sled years ago with only 81 miles on it.. sucks when it happens.. Not really the manufacturers fault..
I took a 20 mph ski hit today and cracked my bulk headI was sidehilling and my ski hit a rock under the snow and I was thrown over the bars. A-arms don't look bent but I will know more when I get it back in my shop to look at it.
the lower crack is hard to see so i circled it
EDIT: I took the hood off

So has anyone just bent an A-arm without damaging the S-module and E-module like Ski Doo said should happen most of the time?
So far I haven't heard or seen any evidence of this. It's early season, should be carnage happening. Have now seen pics of 3 cracked bulkheads.![]()
Got mine today!! Looks like the suspension mod and engine mode! Hit a tree right on the spindle. Buckled upper a arm and bent lower. Will get pic tomorrow once it's in the shop. Has anybody done the repairs yet? Just wondering how it went.
What does Doo is going good for the repairs mean?I was talking to one of the guys that works in my local doo shop on the weekend and he has heard of 32 cracked bulkheads in BC so far and they them selves have had 3 come in all cracked in the same spot. He also said that doo is going good for the repairs. So in that statement does it not seem like doo admits they have a problem here.
