Brace kits still needed :(

...and you would be the first to bitch that the sled was too heavy...

Lol. I've never bitched about skidoos being to heavy. But you'll hear me bitch when my s mod breaks. There are plenty of other areas to cut weight. Rear suspension or the hood would be a good place to cut 5 lbs from. How long have we been asking for a strong s mod? 7-8 years? It's not a deal breaker but damn, fix it skidoo.

Last I heard rocks were harder then aluminum. It was a lot faster then 20 mph sorry to say. This is the price you pay when you ride early in the year. I learned the hard way and totaled a new sled years ago with only 81 miles on it.. sucks when it happens.. Not really the manufacturers fault..

Don't call me a liar, I'm pretty sure I have a better idea then you do of how fast I was going.I gain absolutely nothing from lying about this, I just want to inform people. I was going 20 and hit the rock with one ski that's a lot of force on one ski,and I never blamed skidoo.I would have bought another if mine was totaled, the 850 is a great platform.

I took a 20 mph ski hit today and cracked my bulk head :( I was sidehilling and my ski hit a rock under the snow and I was thrown over the bars. A-arms don't look bent but I will know more when I get it back in my shop to look at it.

the lower crack is hard to see so i circled it

EDIT: I took the hood off

My buddy today hit a rock with his ski in a creek.

So has anyone just bent an A-arm without damaging the S-module and E-module like Ski Doo said should happen most of the time?

So far I haven't heard or seen any evidence of this. It's early season, should be carnage happening. Have now seen pics of 3 cracked bulkheads. :face-icon-small-dis

Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come. I remember my friend changing his bulkhead out on his old Rev chassis and it wasn't an easy fix. Keep the reports coming.

Sent you a message asking a couple of questions, hope you don't mind. Cracked mine this past weekend.

I'll bet there is a complete bracing 'system' offered before the end of this season.

.

Got mine today!! Looks like the suspension mod and engine mode! Hit a tree right on the spindle. Buckled upper a arm and bent lower. Will get pic tomorrow once it's in the shop. Has anybody done the repairs yet? Just wondering how it went.

I got mine back from my dealer last week, its not too bad the engine comes out as a complete module. She is good as new I put 40 miles on her today. Good luck getting it fixed.

The Doo HD front bumper really tie's the bulkhead together, anybody out there
With broken bulkhead and HD bumper?

I was talking to one of the guys that works in my local doo shop on the weekend and he has heard of 32 cracked bulkheads in BC so far and they them selves have had 3 come in all cracked in the same spot. He also said that doo is going good for the repairs. So in that statement does it not seem like doo admits they have a problem here.

What does Doo is going good for the repairs mean?
