I run the 405 Springs

After all is said and done, put em on.

Run them at a lower/ lowest setting. You will not be disappointed.

Don't waste your money on the lighter springs. You can also dial down the
Shock springs.

Nomore butt bumper for me --- have a 05 / 900 166

Are you running the 405 77 degree springs or the 405 47 degree springs?

You must be a BIG boy indeed!

The 375 47 Degree springs will keep the tail up similar to the 405 77's but not be as harsh... unless you are 300 lbs plus with gear on.

Curt at FTX is a about that and he runs the 375 47 degree springs.

Damn...its 100 degrees outside right now and I'm thinking of snowmobile springs...Sheesh!!

BINGO!!

i rode an 05 900 with big boy springs..it was nice, since it rode less bumpy, since my 900 has sagged out springs in it, so its a little rough...

but it was "better" then what i was riding on, but i think Curt @ FTX is on point with the 375/47..will be getting a set for all 3 sleds before season...cant wait to enjoy the ride instead of bouncing on it, lol.

I'm replacing my sacked out .375/77 degree springs with the .375/47 degree springs before this season starts after hearing all the good comments from those who have ran them. I'm a pretty big guy (6'3" 230lbs-dry weight LOL), but I don't want to ride a .405 pogostick, I want the suspension to work throughout its travel.

Spring update; Love the .375/47 degree springs over the .375/77 degree I put on two seasons ago. Much better ride throughout the rear skid travel and they got rid of the 5" of factory sag, without being harsh.

Here's my experiences:

Last year I installed the 375/77 torsions along with the 225lb front.Even after a few hundred miles of break-in they were just too stiff for my 210-ish rider weight... even with gas on the tunnel.

This year I went with the 359/47 torsions as well as doing the RTA relocation. This has been perfect for me, no more dead spot in the upper travel, ideal sag, a good balance of bump soaking and weight transfer. Still on the softest torsion block setting.

A big thanks to Curt for sharing the RTA relocation trick with us all!

I second that, The new springs and scissor relocation trick is the ticket. Sled has a much better riding position now.
