Does anyone know where to get Av-gas, 100LL around Great Falls, Mt area?

sorry to be a dic k but the fuel is designed to use at below 4500 rpm and at high alt
you can get fuel designed for your sled 2 stk high rpm from fuel companies .

I Run it in my big bore stroker Banshee (quad) 420cc twin that turns 10,500rpm's. (two stroke) Never had a problem other than the aditive they put in it that separates the water. Makes little pink balls of goo that plugs fuel filters

29.00 qt 7 oz per gal to go from 91 to 101 so a little over 1/2 gallon per tank in a sled 60.00 be cheaper to buy race gas in a 5 gallon can and mix

ever run a AFR on it and see what yer wastin ? I did on my warrior a good plug reading was runnin 10.2 on my AFR .

To be honest with you I don't even know what AFR is. I never trusted an octane booster because of the oil mix. I believe there is a lot of a acetone in octane booster that doesn't mix well with synthetic oils.

I made an assumption that we where talking about two strokes here. I may be wrong. Warrior is a 4 stroke, but I'm sure you know that :face-icon-small-hap

I was buying av gas for $2.35 a gallon when race gas was $7.00 a gallon. I didn't say this before but the ex wife and the kids quad also needed high octane gas. We burned 30+ gallons a day. I couldn't afforded race gas. My quad had 200psi of compression. I ran av gas for about 10 years. the wife is now ex wife so I can shove $100.00 dollar bills in the gas tank and still have a great time :becky:

air fuel ratio, good reading on a 4 stroke is 14.7 to 1, 17.0 is lean 10.0 will normally flood a 2 stroke . av gas wont hurt but it burns wrong for your quad 2stk to slow
thats all, I mix in my quad so it doesn't rattle .

I really don't want to come off as an azz. :face-icon-small-ton What is av gas? As far as I know it's 100 octane low lead with some altitude additives

Believe it's around 104 but don't remember for sure. There's a LOT of threads on it.
