Anyone know how to add a brake light switch?

I put a Wilwood master cylinder on my 900 last year and now have no brake light switch. Past systems would be a simple fix by adding a T at the caliper and using one side of the T for a pressure switch. Since the IQ's have a banjo fitting on the caliper, not so easy.

Any ideas that don't involve splitting the line at a block?

Thanks, Andy:beer;

Can you put one on the caliper side of the line instead of the cylinder side? My KTM has a banjo fitting on the rear brake, and I pulled that off and replaced it with the pressure switch for the brake light.

Hydraulic switches are not that reliable.

Go with the Wilwood brake switch made for your MC.

That would be cleaner than running the wires up to the bars...thanks:beer;

RP7X...

Awesome recommendation... that would allow the Brake switch on the 2006 and later sleds to put the switch down on the caliper and eliminate another pair of wires to the handle bars!!

This will be going on my sled this year.

Can you confirm that part # 4010656 (#5 in the parts pic) is actually a banjo bolt and that it is the same size as the 2006 and up Caliper banjo bolt?? This part number is from a 2002 - 2004 ProX.

banjo bolt

it is a bango bolt but not sure if it fits the caliper as i run the pro x master on my rmk ,carls mite have both bolts to match and let us know

I just found that Goodridge products makes the Banjo-Bolt brake switches in 10mm, 12mm, 3/8 N.F. and 7/16" N.F. threads..

Now I just have to find the size/pitch.

Thanks again for the good lead rp7x!
