Anti ratchet drivers

Just got a 2001 800 Rmk.

It has the 151 skid and a extension and big wheels to to a 159. I want to put Anti Ratchet drivers in but the Skid is in the way of moving the Drivers out so they fall in the windows.

Should I move the track back or Cut the skid down and put a anti stab kit in?

Moving the skid back in the chassis has the efect of making the rear suspension stiffer. If you go that route, you will have to address that situation. Also have to consider, to move the skid back, you will have to make up that room at the back of the rails, if you have enough room on the tensioning system this is not a big deal, but if you do not, you will have to shorten the rear of the rails, not an easy feat in most cases.

The easiest solution is to shorten the rail tips up front and install some sort of anti-stab system.

Moving the skid back makes it steer like a dump truck. Cut the rail tips and go anti stab.
