My 858 has a vibration especially at lower rpm. It does improve when wot. It feels like a mount type cause not a Eng failure type. Is mine the only one or are you guys feeling this also?

I did a break in ride this weekend, mine has a similar vibration. Seems like once your above ~6500rpm the engine smooths out some. Great mountain chassis, but I have to say the amount of vibration in the machine is significant.

Good to hear it’s not just me. Bad that it may be a 858 issue. I feel it through the handle bars mostly. I have contacted my dealer and he was going to let AC know.

They’re bad. Likely just less isolating from direct mount, moreso than more actual vibration.
Annoying, squeeze throttle to forget.

My dealer said the vibration is because of it being a stroker. Probably some bs. Still love the sled. No problems since the reflash and tweaking the power valves bracket.

guess i didnt notice anything. 3.5 inch pitch track will have a vibration at lower speeds. farther between track clips.

I noticed a bunch of vibration when I first got it. But after breakin it seems like it's much less. Maybe that's just because I'm used to it now but seriously it seems much easier to read the display at an idle. When I first got it I thought it was ridiculous that I almost couldn't read the G8 display.

It’s sitting at an idle, feels like a king cat for some .
Yup ole 900 used to vibrate the primary right off of it at idle trick was to turn the idle up a couple hundy my clutches have 6,000!miles on them and runs like it was new , crank had .001 runout with 4,000 miles on it when I rebuilt it , Eric at racing station said that one was a keeper for sure , run it !! think spec is .003-.004 or their abouts !!

For sure the track will cause some vibration but this is from the engine. The mounts or the way the engine is attached seem to be the most likely suspects.

I balanced both clutches and mine has little vibration.

Can’t say I’ve noticed much more than my ascender, but I’ve only got 50 miles and haven’t payed much attention.

Mine is the same as my ascender also, same vibration at idol but once you give it a bit of gas I don't notice it anymore.

I find it noticeable in the bars. This is not something I remember from my Ascender. It seems to be more pronounced than the Ascender ever was. I think I am going to try and isolate the bars and see if I can improve it.

I have an iso-vibe on mine (had it on the Ascender also) https://www.gripnripracing.com/index.php?id_product=111&controller=product. It doesn't totally eliminate the bar vibration, but it does help reduce some of the high frequency buzz.
My hands are sensitive to vibration, due to multiple Carpal tunnel surgeries and 46 years of abuse from being a mechanic.

Thanks for that I never thought of isolating there. I was thinking down the steering further.

Found this today, track nub touching shock, while doing a post ride once over. Won’t have anything to do with the engine vibes people are talking about, but could be some of the drive train vibes. I don’t remember, did the track sit that close to the shock on the ascender alpha?

Not seeing any real wear on the other nubs or even that one. Relaxed track position perhaps?

What's the deal with the brake? It doesn't cause a vibration but a decent amount of noise from the rotor (?) that I can get to stop when applying brake. Started two rides ago, sled has 200 miles.
