Summary
Early riding conditions are looking pretty good with a few good storms over the past 7-10 days. Base is still on the marginal side, but is doable with caution. After this last storm settles it should be quite a bit better. Trails are still unmarked/ungroomed. We will let you know as soon as we hear they are marked/groomed. Fairly dry week ahead with a slight chance of snow Sunday-Monday.

Rode snowies today, was pretty good foot of fresh and snowing when we came down. Still some land mines but it’s much better than I was expecting

Still snowing, awesome conditions right now. They have gotten probably close to 3 feet the last few days.

Was up there Monday 12/17. Was great. Snow is starting to set up but still had bumper deep or more pow in most places. We went out of Green Rock and were NE of Quealy Hut. Checked at one point and was close to 6'. Should have a good base. Definitely has a bad layer in there though. Most of the stucks came from trenching through the crust. Going to be a sketchy year for avi's.

Rode snowies out of green rock today (12/17), if you want to ride trail don’t bother. Trails have been pounded and not groomed. Closer to Saratoga the trails are nice and groomed though. If you want to ride off trail, you should go. 12”-24” of loose sitting on top down in the trees. It was a great day of riding. The north warming hut has not been placed yet.

We rode from the Saratoga side on 130. Sunday was our last day of riding but it was the best snow I’ve been on in the past few years. Lots of headlight deep snow. Don’t hit the pillows just yet some still will get ya
