2016 M8000 Mileage stored in ECM or Gauge Cluster?

I am converting my supercharged M8000 back to stock, and I figured I'd just buy a replacement ECM to keep the flashed one for the next guy (or me, if want to supercharge again).

I'm worried replacing the ECM will change my low mileage reading, is it stored in the ECM or the gauge cluster?

Guage cluster for hours and miles. Flashing ECU resets everything in it anyway.

I won't know for sure until the snow falls, but I'm back to stock and it starts and seems to run well
