Hi all!

We are getting excited for the event this weekend.

Some of us spent the weekend preparing the snow park for this event.

Saturday a group of riders put in the snow bridge and it should last the rest of the season.
Sunday a group of riders filled pot holes on the road, so it is ready for the RV traffic.
Thank you all so much for your hard work to make this event great!

Riding is great above the Meadow, but the creek being open has prevented Randy from grooming above the ice bridge. Therefore we can't get our kitchen, etc up to the salad bowl. That is why we have decided to have it in the Meadow.

We will probably be parking in all three lots. The NWGC, WSSA and Skagit Valley Polaris trailers will be in the first parking lot. So please stop there and buy T-shirts, raffle tickets, 50/50 tickets cost 7 tickets for $5.00 and drop off food and clothing donations. We will be selling tickets on the mountain too. The 50/50 tickets will also be used for additional donated items from NWGC, She Shreds Mountain Adventures and Divas Snowgear - Kassi Leeper, and the Bavarian Boondockers.
We still have alot of Annual Raffle tickets left to sell for the Garmin 650, The SPOT tracking device with 1 yr membership, and the Custom FX Wrap, cost is $5.00 a tickets. Thanks to all who donated items for our raffle. Drawing will be held at 3 pm in the Meadow.

The Shoot Out events will be as follows.

BBQ will be held from 12 to 3 in the Meadow, please stop and get some food. Donations will be accepted for the food.

NWAC Beacon Rally will be from 1 to 3 in the Meadow - they have some really great prizes to win and you get to practice with the wireless beacon rally from Mt. Baker Ski Lodge. Win - Win

Ladies Ride Clinic will be from 11 to 1 in the Meadow we will meet at the BBQ area and then go to a area in the meadow. Kassi Leeper and Kendra Kinghorn are our coaches and they are very excited to teach our ladies some great new moves.

Dealer Demos will be from 11 - 3 in the Meadow. Skagit Valley Polaris, Lifestyles Honda and Adventure Motorsports are all on board.

Annual Raffle and 50/50 drawing will be held at 3 at the BBQ area in the Meadow.

The event will end at 3 and the parking lot shenanigans begin! :)

Right now the parking lot areas are all open. The snow is at about the 2nd switchback past the 3rd parking lot. We will be parking in all 3 lots, We are hoping that most will park in parking lot 1 as it is the biggest lot. We have to drive to the snow anyway.

Please do not camp on the road, we would like everyone to park in a designated parking lot to avoid issues with turnarounds, etc. We are still getting snow, so this may change before we get there. We will try to update you Wednesday night.

Do not bring HAY or any other organic things as the USFS does not allow these things in the parks. Camp fires are allowed, but please put out the fires unless you are there to watch them.

Last but not least - Park respectful, Park Tight and bring your patience. We are hoping for a large crowd and we all have to work together to make this a great fun family event!

If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thank you!

See you this weekend!

Update 2/28/16

Hi All,

We wanted to update you on what is going on with the planning of the Shoot Out on March 19.

Right now we are struggling with open creeks and no grooming of the ice bridge and above to the salad bowl. Therefore we have decided to hold the BBQ and Dealer event in Schriebers meadow. There is a big open space there by the trail.

You will still be able to go up to the mountain, but we can't get our kitchen and supplies up there due to the trail not being in to get a snow cat up there with our supplies.

The other issue we may experience is parking and camping. We are having to drive past the 3rd parking lot to park at the snow, so we are trying to plan where to have the majority of campers park.

We would like to avoid having people camping on the side of the road because that creates turn around issues. We are working on a plan to maybe shuttle sleds to the snow, but nothing is firm at this point, we are still praying for more snow so we can all park in parking lot 1. However with the way it is now we felt it necessary to let you know the obstacles we are facing in planning this event.

Right now we are planning on having our trailer and some of our officers camping in parking lot 1 as it is the biggest space. We have Polaris bringing a big semi and the WSSA trailer is coming. So in order to make a plan we will plan on that being in the 1st parking lot. We wanted to get this information out to you as soon as we could so you could plan.

The event is still going to be a blast and we have a beacon rally planned by NWAC. Kassi Leeper is going to host a small ladies clinic. Our raffle will be held in the meadow too. We have some great extra prizes donated by She Shreds Mountain Adventures, NWGC stocking hats and stickers. We will be doing a 50/50 raffle too, so bring some cash. T-shirts will be sold in the trailer in parking lot 1 along with raffle and 50/50 tickets. We will also be accepting food donations and warm weather clothing and blanket donations for Skagit Distribution center. So clean out your closet of that old gear and bring it with you to donate.

We will update you closer to the date. We are looking forward to doing this event and we are going to try to accommodate everyone that comes as best we can. Patience is always a good thing to pack with you to this event, we appreciate each and every one of you.

If you have specific questions or concerns, please let us know.

We hope to see you soon!

Is this a snowmobile shoot out or is this a target shooting thing? Being it is a right to carry state and Washingtonians are gun enthusiasts.
I would attend either function, no problem!!!

The new and improved snow bridge. Thanks to everyone who helped install it, especially NWGC for making it happen.
