Having a hard time deciding which fix kit to buy spi is about 50$ cheeper but I don't really care I just want the better one. Also if you know of a better kit than these two let me know.

Mtntk has the tightest squish.
It can make more power.

If you want to run without a controller go spi.

Long warm ups are a must with the wiseco pistons. (Forged pistons)

I have seen no problems with either kit.

Been around 4-5 of each.

Ok thank you for the information. Just to clarify the wiseco doesn't need a fuel controller but it would benefit from running one correct?

Depending on elevation.

I've seen a 15 psi jump in compression at sea level.
(After the assembly oil is burnt out) compared to stock with 200 miles.

It will run happier with more fuel in the midrange.
Lessen chance of det.

Agreed with Sheetmetalfab on those counts. Most of the wiseco fix kits run a .055-.058 squish and most of the SPI/snow x kits are around .060-.065 which is a little more pump gas friendly but makes slightly less power. Easier warmup on the cast pistons.

That`s an important note if you already have an aftermarket head from someone else.

After installing a Mntkt set my squish was .049" OD and .048" ID. Would not have been good on pump gas.
Good gains with a stock head because of this. IMO if your going with a head too order it from Mntkt.

How do wossner pistons compare to these two?

Could I still run pump gas with wiseco pistons and a head but with a fuel controller?

What fuel controller do you guys reccomend?

Have nothing else than good words about Wössner. RkTek's drop in kit, consist of RkTek head and Wössner pistons. 2013+ he recommends fuel controller, 2011-2012 n0 fuel controller needed.

Go for a proven kit, look at mtntk how long they have been selling/making their kits and all the good testimonials they have. Just my opinion :)

I'm due for a top end in my 13...why do you need a fuel controller if your just doing pistons & rings? Cant you just re & re and off you go?
I was planning on going with MTNTK myself.
