2008 check engine light

I have a 2008 xp. I am having the check engine flash and the beep coming on. It is always around 6000 rpm and in a constant throttle position. When I let out of it the code goes away. It doesn't seem to be as big of a problem when I have it pinned to the bars. Any ideas why or where to start?

Any loss in power? I've done a lot of reading on this one as I have the same problem people are saying that it's the rave valve solenoid probably just a wire loose somewhere. Check all connections. I'm still chasing mine but I'll let ya know if I find anything

Found a wire on mine for the rave valve solenoid that had broken, fixed it and seems that the light has gone away. Still chasing done other electrical for now. At least I got that one though
