2006 White MCX 310 Apex Upgrades

Well couldn't ride this winter due to a leg injury, bored out of my tree, so going to do some upgrades..... here's what im starting with... 2006, MCX 310, 10:1 wiescos, racers edge skid 174, camo extreme, mountain mod seat and hood, cr racing and wildchild steering

Upgrades
- move the turbo like the nytro style kit, just behind the gas tank ...like the 2010 apex kits
- tunnel dump exhaust, and mountain mod is fabbing us up a seat that will totally cover the turbo, just the intake coming out the back...for the nice clean look....hopefully not to loud....
- get Alamo in Calgary to upgrade my 16T to 19T
-custom CR tunnel ...taking a front mount tunnel and cutting it to make it work for the mid mount nytro style setup
-Going to be installing BOOST IT fuel control box
-new skis...prob gen 3s
- if funds allow upgrade the front shocks

had this sled for 6 seasons of boost.....cant beat yamaha quality

so got it ripped down

found a used cr tunnel from fellow snowester thanks twsandrew

got the tunnel stripped

fabbed the bracket that mount to the turbo and cross shaft

Here is the Mountain Mod seat base that i am going to hopefully make work...thanks Murray

Called Chad and got some new brackets coming stock ctc for the racers edge skid i'm running

well test fit to see how its going to all work before I cut the tunnel center section out to install the exhaust hump....nervous about cutting it..lol

well found the courage to cut it.....air saw worked awesome

yeah would like to make it smaller when i get the tunnel and seat done...never did hit it though and i'm 6'5"

Well had some time today....got the turbo mounted...Also started working on the exhaust...that is a art trying to make all the angles just right....I tried to use the exsisting mcx pipe y flange but was just to sharp of a angle, so cut the y in half and started to fab it with one straight and one bent in.....

lookin good man i started putting your old tunnel on to my rxton it sure looks good thanks again for the great deal on it and the impulse rack maybe meet up this year coming up and go riding i have family up your way so my excuse could be to come see them ha

Got the pipe all fitted and tacked together....lots of hours making this fit...

well summer gone....time to start working on the sled.....spent the last month finishing my garage(paint still wet lol), heat will be nice finally....couple picks of the seat in progress
