I recently acquired a 144" skid and track from a 2006 Switchback to swap into a Gen II 700 chassis. The rear track shock is a Fox Float 2 and is bolted into the the lower position where the "shock rod" usually bolts up and the shock rod is eliminated. The problem I'm having is with the torsion springs. Without the shock rod in place, the torque arm swings back too far, allowing the torsion springs to fall out of their sliders. Is this common with uncoupled skids?
