So I took my slp pipe can and power comander off my 2011 assault.
put it right back on my 2013 pro 155. Fit right up same springs same everything. Now i see on here people say it doesnt fit. So i called slp they said that the 13 pipe is different they said it was smaller. and that the braketry is different. But if thats the case why does it bold right up?
I was also told that if i put the 11-12 kit on the 13 that my hood will melt. It looks to me like i have the same clearance from hood to pipe as i did before. I didnt measure it but by the naked eye it looks good. Has anyone else tried this swap? pro's cons do i need to but the 13 kit or add moil heat foil? havent been able to ride the sled buy i dont want it to melt down the hood? any info would be helpful thanks

Yep, the pipe is the same part number, the can is the only thing different, and it is just the lower mounting bracket. The 13 uses another "hook" to mount the lower part of the can to the bulkhead vs 11/12 where it has a bracket that bolts to the bulkhead. So if you have a 11/12 set up, all you would have to do is purchase the stock lower mounting bracket and hardware if your system utilizes that bracket.

I talked to an slp rep yesterday. He said the pipe is a little bit different to clear under the carbon fiber over structure better. And the silencer is now lighter. This is coming straight from an slp rep I talked to in person yesterday

We rode our new '13's today. My buddy sent his pipe off to get coated and needed to borrow my '11 pipe/HPS can combo. Worked fine all day, no error codes and no melting to my knowledge. I also heard that the change were in the mounting bracket for the can. The HPS can fits all years because it is small enough that the bracket doesn't matter.

x2
I was told at haydays by a SLP rep. that the pipe was an inch or so shorter and the can had different mounts also

Ok so I got a 13 can in today, it has a hook bracket on the inside that slides over the bulk head bracket on the 13,! So difference between the 12 and 13 the 12 came from Polaris with a bracket the can rested on to keep it suspended so it wouldn't touch the body on the outer side! The 13 doesn't come with that bracket. So that's why SLP made a hook bracket on the 13 can! So here is the fix!
Take a 1x1 piece of angle iron
Cut it and drill 4 holes in it!
2 on the vertical side that line up with the already threaded inserts that come on the sled
Then drill 2 more holes where the tabs on the bottom of the SLP 12 can will line up into (these tabs are on the can so it doesn't rotate when your driving the sled)
After you see where you tabs are going to line up and everything is good take off your angle bracket and cut a half circle in it that is the same shape as the exhaust hole that Polaris puts in the bottom of the pan!
This way the can sits flush up against the newly made bracket and the can shoots straight out the exhaust hole!

I painted mine so it won't rust

I then added extra heat foil on the plastic so there is no chance it can melt.

Your end product should line up nice and your can should be suspended and not touching any plastic anywhere so no melting issues!
It's nothing fancy but its a fix!
If anyone wants a bracket I got a few made pm me ill send you one no charge!
