05 rev bogging and loaded plugs

my 05 rev 800 has been tending to bog out and only reach like 76 rpms max and my plugs are loaded and black like they are oily. anyone seen this or know what it may be... clutching, jetting, too much oil?

buddy had a 670 and couldnt get over 6700 rpm, i went to his house and cleaned his clutches and now its pullin harder than ever. but i didnt know what his plugs looked like. clutches are easy to clean and only take an hour, i would start there, see if your arms moove freely inside, thats what his problem was.

I just had the same type problem on my 06 800 summit. It ended up being the governor cup on the primary had gone bad. I checked the reeds and everything checked out and kept fiddling with it and ended up loading the pipe with raw fuel and it back fired so bad it blew the hood open and gutted my SLP can and plugged it off.

Rebuild the primary assuming youve got some miles on it.

Theres plenty of great Doo clutch kits running around thatll solve all your problems
