Default MPI anounces new turbo for 2018 CAT DIS 800...

Just got off the phone with Mac at MPI Turbo.

In the course of the conversation he mentioned that in light of the huge success they have seen with their new Turbo Kit for the Ski-Doo 850 (which I am installing on my sled Thursday night ) they have decided to offer another 2 stroke turbo kit for the new 2018 Arctic Cat DIS 800. Mac told me having spent all those years riding 4 stroke turbos he'd forgotten just how much fun the 2 strokes really were. (And having JUST made the jump from my Yamaha Nytro/Viper over to my 850, I FULLY agree with him!!)

Prototype parts have already begun fabrication, the sled is in-house and the fuel control hardware is already being tested and working..

Just thought some of you CAT enthusiasts would want to know about a new toy coming your way!!

Unless they are reflashing the ECU, I don't want anything to do with it.

I would say it will be a great product if mpi is building it but it is mounted just like the original proclimb boondocker kit. Also why is the afr sensor mounted in the pipe before the turbo? Is that for fuel control reading or afr? Will it have a electronic boost control to compensate boost for elevation and will you be able to adjust boost electronically so you don't have to deal with a old school twist knob.

From what I understand AFR was in the pipe for some priminsry testing, will be after the turbo for production most likely. Will have automatic electronic boost control for the pump gas base kit just like the doo 850 kit.
