Black Hills snowmobiling has pretty much been over since St. patty's day but now after reviewing the Hardy webcam and the snotel sites it is official, . Snow is gone from the Hardy camp yard and the Blind Park Snotel sites measures 0 for snow depth. This is the earliest I have ever been done from snowmobile patrol for the season (March 17). It is also the earliest Blind Park has shown 0 snow going back to 2004. Usually total snow melt at Blind Park does not occur until around April 20. Last year total snow melt occured on May 23. It is amazing Blind Park went from 38 inches to 0 in less than a month.
