This is my current setup on my pro.

Easy to find.
Easy to clean
Close to my wrist.

What was used:
2 ski-doo mountain bar clamps
10. Plate-support Part#506162115
11. Screw Hex Flange Part#207662084
12. Bushing Part#506152156
13. Nut-Flange Elastic Part#233261494

Make a small plate with hole in Center for Tether Switch
and two holes on both ends for mounting brackets.
Makes sure your plate is not to thick, so when you install your nut
that the switch will be pressed in far enough to work.

May take a little work but the finished product is awesome.

Not sure why picture is sideways but I guess you'll get some neck excercise. Lol
