Polaris gen II suspension upgrade options

What can I do to stiffen up my suspension a little so it can handle some harder riding without breaking? I'm breaking shafts in the suspension and I can feel every bump on the trail. What kind of options do I have when it comes to a rear shock? Anybody have any experience with the Polaris Fox Position Sensing upgrade kit?

The sled is a 2000 500 XCSP short track.

I have that exact sled. Sorry not familier with the upgrade. Depending on where your located I would contact a Fox rebuild specialist and have them rebuild/ custom valve your shocks.
