Default extra fuel storage on 99 Mountain Max

Hi,

Anyone have ideas on extra fuel storage on a 1999 mountain max? I've seen some unique (home-made?) carriers/racks that leave the tail/brake light visible.

Anything from mountain addiction (or elsewhere) that would be appropriate?

Thanks,

BC24

Default gas rack

I put a mountain addiction gas rack on my 99mm, and I love it. I simply put a led brake light on back of sled, just made a bracket out of aluminum.

just google mountain addiction track rack. you can put cans or bags on back of sled but they are locked into a rail so you don't loose stuff. I used a real small light like 1/2" by 4", its lightweight but hard to see. I would probably go bigger so people see you.

Got the new tail light on. Works. Not real 'clean', but will see how it does. Standard LED type trailer light. I just tagged into the other tail light wires. both work.

I disliked Mountain Addiction mounts and their cans a lot. Should be able to use the linq system..... yes I know it's a ski-doo product but it works very well.
