i personally think that if they want some one to snow check a sled they need weight and horsepower. i think that they made a huge mistake and i am very disapointed for a anniversary year. there entry level sled is $11,000 RETARDED! i guess hello PIGLAROUS. sorry i just have to vent just disapointed. and all the sleds look the same so are we riding long tracked trail sleds agian i thought we got away from that?:brokenheart:

The 800 2 stroke motor is still the same 163hp. The 1100 4 stroke turbo is 177 hp. I haven't seen any weights yet.

As for long track trail sleds, may want to look at where the Powder Special, Mountain Cat and M all came from...Yep, that's right, they ALL are long track trail sleds.

The sleds are sick! You have to see them in person to truly appreciate them. Like said before the hp numbers are clearly posted in the brochure. The weights aren't in because everything is a pre production sled and things are still changing. Word from cat is the m8 will be the same weight as before and maybe a little lighter. The 1100T is about 40-50 lbs more than the m8.

I am a Cat guy - but am seriously entertaining a PRO RMK in the family if the M8 is going to weigh pretty much what it did last year with similar hp. How can Poo get theirs 40-50 lbs lighter? The hp is not as much as the M8 -- but that's a big weight difference. Kind of disappointed in the release - obviously pushing 4-strokes.

The article in snowest mag weighed cat, poo and doo ready to ride. dont remember exact numbers but poo was only about 10 pounds less than the cat, not 40

you polaris guys are too funny. You haven't even been on the new sleds yet and you are still saying how much better your pro's are...The even funnier thing is when the 2012 polaris came out this year it was dead as $%#@ on snowest and like 3 people looked at the polaris web site that night. Another thing. Since the only thing changing on the pro for 2012 are colors, why are there so many for sale lately???
