09 summit 800 driven removal

Hey working on an 09 summit 800 and cant get the belt deflection adjuster out of the jackshaft. Is there any trick to getting this style adjuster out of the jackshaft? It looks like it should un-thread but i havent been able to get any movement out of this one. Any tips would be much appreciated, thanks.

It should be loctited, heat it with a propane torch inside to soften the loctite, use a large crescent wrench, set the brake.
If corroded, I have had to remove the shaft, place a old gear on the splined end and put the gear in a large vise to hold the shaft from spinning.

Diddo. Once it starts to loosen. Go back and forth or you might gall it. Take your time.
