today we went riding in the snowies and right of of trail O next to a sign that says no snowmobiling natural research site some dumb *** had drove right over the fence and sign and up through the meadow. It is idiots like this that give snowmobilers a bad name and the reason enviro groups are trying to kick us off. The snowies have tons of area to ride and today there was lots and lots of deep untracked powder to be found so why be an idiot and do something like that!

And they wonder why people want to close more and more areas! Used to see this in Yellowstone back when anyone could ride in, and some "outa towner" would cut up a meadow or pull a mark on a hill. Look at it now....guided & 4 strokes in low numbers.

This is ridiculous that people even do this. You can ride 5 more minutes ON the trail, and be in snow that is 100 times better than that area. But no, people like this have to ruin it for the rest of us. Let's keep giving the greenies more ammo eh.

I saw that in Cooke City as well. Big orange wilderness signs and tracks right by them. Idiots.

It's most likely some dumb ars that needs a good education.

It could be the DNR though as well. They use snowmobiles to check on things in those types of areas.
