Looking for a new helmet. Need to drive an hour plus to try them on. Anyone with experience with either?

Love my F5. Has to be very cold for me to use windstopper liner. Had a 509 and did not like how it fit. My son uses it and it fits him well. Klim is lighter.
I just went through this exact decision process: 509 Altitude Carbon or Klim F5. At first I wanted the 509. It was light, seemed to fit well and I figured it would match up with my 509 goggles well. I also had a deal on the 509 from a dealer buddy for basically cost.
I tried on the F5 and noticed the helmet is taller inside. The 509 felt like it stopped before reaching my jawline (my head is tall and thin). The F5 had better coverage around my head, is so damn light and I was able to dial in the fit with the cheek pads as others mentioned.
Bottom line, both great helmets and fit is the most important (obviously). Can't go wrong with either I suppose.
I wish the F5 had a top visor screw for a gopro mount. I couldn't decide where to mount mine and went upside down on the visor just above eye level.
