The stock 33mm carbs can be bored to 35.5mm. The only other rack of stock carbs that come close to working are the 38mm carbs off a Machz, but the center to center distance between the carbs does not match up.

Been there, done that. Not much of a gain for all the BS.

The stock carbs are so user friendly its almost not worth messing with. Eric

A friend of mine had one of those Price 950's. Never ran that great. My 700 MM with pipes, porting, billet head and a 45HP shot of NOS ran side by side with it.

If you go that route might as well buy some megatrons and a case of pistons :) Eric

The stock carbed bored to 35mm will work even on a 950. You give up a little hp compared to bigger flatslides. If you are going to build a lower compression pump gas 950 stock carbs bored would be fine and if your doing any tight tree riding they are a benefit. Insane quick throttle response.
If you are thinking of a 950 talk to Curt at Fastrax. He might still have a few of his Billet monoblock kits left. The biggest problem with the Price is how the cylinders bolt down and the fact that they are still individual cylinders. You cannot get an an exact tourque on the cylinder studs an have to modify a special wrench just to tighten the nuts down. Base gaskets are an issue. The Unionbay/Fastrax billet monoblock adresses both of these problems. The two kits use the same sleeves and pistons. It all comes down to the guy doing the porting on whether one of those beasts will be a runner.
