So does this add a heat exchanger on the front bulkhead, or does it re-rout the stock engine cooling system to bypass the bulkhead cooler and then utlize the bulkhead cooler for engine cooling?

The system is independant of the engine cooling. It uses the front bulkhead cooler exclusively for the intercooler. If your sled didn't come with a bulkhead cooler, it is supplied in the kit. The existing tunnel coolers are very sufficient for engine cooling in all but the most extreme low snow/high temp conditions. For those conditions we also offer a mini add on u-cooler for the rear of the tunnel.

For those of you who are not familiar with the mini U Cooler, they really work. Those Fastrax Boys have done their homework. And if you take a look at our website, you will find a lot of technical information, with more uploaded soon.

If you are running an auto set up will the electrical system support the added draw of a water pump along with an oil pump?

Shane's intercooler is a very trick piece that doesn't weigh a whole lot and the craftsmanship is great. It's a very innovative, space-saving design and the performance speaks for itself.

Those mini U coolers work great as well. We uses the same ribbed channel to build a bottom-mounted oil cooler for our Victory motorcycle turbo kit.
