So we came up with the tags for all the track lengths...the cut off for a mtn sled is now 154":D... I wasn't happy about it it either because im an arctic cat man and just came off a 153":(...hence the reason i went 174":D:beer;

136"-short track trail sled

144"-medium track trail sled

153"-long track trail sled

154"-short track mtn sled

155"-medium track mtn sled

162" & 163"-long track mtn sled

174"-king dick mtn sled:eek:

I love the steep and deep and the 154x16 is probally the best track length sled I have had..imo. Still nice to turn around, fun to ride, and works dang good in the deep. Sure some days the 163x16 or 174x16 will do better but how many days a year do you have that??? 3 or 4 maybe....

I don't ever want anything longer than a 144" and I can climb very well with my 141". I am not trying to start something here, but I've got to give my opinion also. If a motor can turn a 163" for example up a hill at 50 mph, then that same motor in the same conditions can probably turn a 144" around 60 mph. I think that makes a difference, plus a 144 is going to be a lot lighter than a 163. I only bring up this opinion of mine because my little 141" climbs extremely well. I will never claim to be able to out climb anything else, but I would bet most of you if not all would be very surprised to see what it can do.
