Call Robbie at Avid 406-253-0979. I believe he has one of these old style left, and it should be a good batch # as well. I know he only had 2 of them when I got mine....and they are hard to find now.

Thats right, dang I knew that.......that's the original style track (p/n 9116) now replaced by the new style p/n 9219 - which I don't like as much. Where did you order it from?

You going to put on a 3in? Like to see one tractor around at 10k plus all day.
Already dumped 2 g's into the 09 this summer, whats another thousand!!!!lol

2 Gs is still cheaper than a new sled.....what did you do?

Airframes, skinz rear bumper, exit shocks for the rear (used), s36 front end. Almost forgot, spent 1700 on a new road bike to lose about 30 lbs over the last 3 months. I havn't been this excited about riding in 10 yrs, havn't been this fit since I got out the Army in 90'. BTW Skinz makes some nice SH*T!!
C'mon winter!!!!!!

Mark,
It's on the list, but not gonna happen this year. I have the SPI extended chain case coming (takes that to fit the 3 incher in the rev chassis). I'll just have to be content for another year with my 2.5 CE. Hopefully, we'll have a geat winter.

I'll take a couple.

Sled needs a good cleaning after all the wrenching.....

I would start with what you have and experiment with 20 and 19. What works for you will depend on clutching, riding style etc...

Not sure what elevation your riding but here is my setup for 10k and up.
Brew's clutching w/ 19-49 gearing, never blown a belt with this setup, worn a couple out but never grenaded one (ie clutches are running cool).
2011 Doo 163" track
RKT drop in kit
Running the 3in your obviously not concerned with top end speed on the trail so I would gear it DOWN. Just my .02.....

WOW. Cut my boards off yesterday and pulled the drive shaft and stock track. There is definately not much room in there for a 3" track. 3.5" from driver to tunnel in the smallest area and track is 3.25"....gonna have to run it pretty tight I think. Getting a little nervous but I trust the feedback I got and I wont know until the snow flies.

Question:

If I grind rivets, they will have to be replaced with screws, correct? There is only a few at the top of the tunnel that are a concern.
