Is there any way to get the '09 as reliable as my old '97 700 RMK and if so, and I wanted to drop it off at a shop and have all the work done what is a rough estimate as to what it would cost to have done?

Thanks

Nope, and there's no way to get your 97 to handle like that 08. Actually some on here will rave about the Mtn Tek or RK Tek drop in kits. These are different piston kits that provide a better piston tolerance (less vibration).
