I'm working on a 2011 RMK and not getting any DC voltage. I'm running the fuel pump off an external battery on the prime plug to keep it running.
I tried swapping the VR with a new OEM one and still no DC voltage, all the stator tests are withing spec. When I run the sled, unplug the stator wires going to the VR and measure AC voltage directly from the stator I get about 18vAC at idle and 53vAC at about 3000rpm.
When I plug the stator back into the VR and run the sled I only measure about 2vAC on the yellow wires from the stator and only about .5vDC out of the VR
I've double checked all wires and plugs and connections, could it be a bad stator even if the resistance measures OK?
