the new xxxmodrods hood and vent kit worked bad a$$ It has a new air intake shelf that draws air from the center hood vent and head light vent. you could tell a there was a big weight loss.

Is the only venting from one side of the hood? Looks to be all sealed off otherwise.

Isn't it just some heat tape, or sometimes called metal tape used in HVAC?

heat tape from lowes or home depot.

as far as the venting it has all the stock vents drilled out . I have only one Y vent on right now just because I did not have time to get the other one on.

That kitty cat looks kinda heavy all trenched in like that. However those vents do look pretty bad a$$.

In deep powder that area of my sled is completely covered in snow. It would not work at all for me.

we also have the dash vents and you can use your stock vents that go beside the head light. So you really cant get any more venting from a intake I went out in 3 1/2 feet of the lightest powder this weekend and it worked great. Yes this works on the light weight hoods we sell.
