Just wanted to post a pic of my little project.

Nothing too major, just flipped my Aero 53 around so I could tunnel dump it, and ingest cooler air into the intake. Had to build a new charge tube (aluminum), and exhaust tubing (stainless), and cut about 2 inches off my exhaust pipe to accommodate the flip of the turbo. It actually sits in there way nicer, and has more room.

I guess you know you are getting old when you want your sled to be quieter !! ha ha...

Tunnel dump really works good. What do think, any quieter. Here is a pic of the small muffler that BoonDocker uses.

Colorado has passed new sound regs. Wondering if my sled will pass.

Quieter is better for our sport, nice job on your mod

Yeah, actually I debated putting a muffler on that I had,, but we do not have sound bylaws YET !!! So I kept it off, and it is way quieter then it was.

Does the tunnel dump work better then the stock location?

Tunnel Dump

In my honest opinion, it works way better. I wish I had dyno numbers before and after... it just seems to run so clean now. Crisp ! Clean ! Love it
