If this is true at 535 ready to ride that means fuel tank full sign me up. That means sled weighs in at 470ish no fuel. Where is the bull$hit now. Not only a turbo 4 stroke but lightest production sled built. It is like the guy with a 10 second car and no time slip. Cut to the chase and lets see one on the scale.

There's no way the M1100T or the M1000 is 535 RTR, my 2008 M1000 162 stripped down with an SLP pipe set cutler air box and boss seat was 527 with no fuel. My new PC M8 153 RTR is 560

M 1000= 595lbs. RTR

Don't post figures when you don't know what you're talking about.

You've got the weight of an 07 m1000 & you're claiming that's the same for the 09. The 09 lost somewhere around 35 lbs from 07 (and could be more if it was a snowcheck with the boss seat), and the weight that you posted (which clearly had items that weren't stock on it anyhow)

You might as well post the weight for a skandic when someone asks for an XP. (bigger difference, but you get the idea.)
If you don't have a real answer, don't post BS.

btw.... some people REALLY need to purchase a working sarcasm meter. Even AFTER it's been explained they're still trying to argue against it.

btw, weighed an 1100t on a bathroom scale while I was holding it, (Stepped on scale before, then after lifting the 1100) and jeff C is dead on. 535. He must have weighed on the same way I did...

This 1000 has all light weight parts and the hood/intake striped. We weight a 2011 and it was 555 with a mesh light weight hood etc and Boss seat. Both are alot lighter than a stock 09 1000 so pro. The lowest weight for any 1000 was 555lbs. I will try to find the pic of the board with all the numbers. All weights were full of fuel and oil ready to ride.

Who cares what they weigh dry? I have snowmobiled for better than twenty years and have never seen a snowmobile dry running anywhere! I always fill my sled full of fuel before I leave and hope that I have enough to make it home at the end of the day.

OUT OF THE CRATE M1100T IS 604 PLUS FUEL WEIGHT OF APROX 64 LBS = 668
M1000 WEIGHT IS 509 OUT OF THE BOX PLUS FUEL OF APROX 64 LBS PLUS OIL APV OF 6-7 LBS = 580 RTR
WE HAVE WEIGHED ALL SLEDS AT OR DLRSHIP SAME SCALE IT IS DIGITAL AND VERY ACCURATE
THIS IS NOT A GUESTIMATE AS IN LOT OF POSTS ON THIS FORUM
TOM PHIPPS

Not really sure why people are still discussing this. He just posted out of the crate weights....apples to apples....with caramel.

Tom can you give us the weight of a M1100....non turbo. Then we'll have apples to apples. I would go on a hunch that w/o turbo will be around 40lbs lighter...were still talking 50lbs heavier...which I guess isn't bad considering it's a 4 stroke.

He sells mountain sleds not trail sleds, pretty sure there arent any non T 1100 around here.

Does nobody have a weight for a 1100t fuel and ready to ride for the day? Its simple an M1000 stock weighs in at about 615lbs. More if you need to pack extra fuel. But somebody knows the answer they just do not want to say how heavy it is.

All the weights we did were full of fuel, oil, spare belt, ready to ride. There was a yamaha wide track there that was 970 lbs.( trapper had one)We were scared the roof was going to cave!

how is the 1100t a hundred pounds more than the 800? not disputing the numbers but it doesn't even seem like it could be possible. is that four stroke motor made out of lead?

Lots of extra steel. Valves, cams, springs, bigger heads, bigger pistons, big crank, timing chain, gears, engine oil, turbo.........
