the 1100t might weigh more but i had my first ride on it last week and i have spent lots of time on a m1000. the 1100 is another level above any other stock sled. its a hillclimb monster.

X2. Doubt you could find a NA mod m1000 that comes even close to a bone stock 1100T. Powerwise, it's on a whole new level.

Until you take the m1000 in the trees
thats what i thought but u are able to go a bit slower at times where u would be pinned on a non turbo.i jumped off the 1100t and onto a 800 and went up the same line and i had togo twice as fast to make it and i walked up it on the turbo.

Then the line wasn't hard enough, not saying it can't be done but at the end of the day you will be. sometimes lines are straight across and down hill along with up hill.

some of us snowmobilers don't know how to type

that damn caps lock button stays on after u bump it, the only way I passed typing class is because one of the cheerleaders handed me her timed writing so I could turn it in, we hand to type 30 words per minute with less than 6 typos to pass, i couldn't type 30 wpm if my life depended on it

I find it hard to believe that they are the same weight, ready to ride! So it looks like it's probably safe to say they are about 90 pounds difference stock to stock! Thats not bad considering the gain in power and reliability. Plus, with the 1100T, you can get up to 240 HP on pump gas with some re-mapping. Think of what it would cost to get 240 HP out of the M1000, not to mention the reliability that you would lose.

Not knocking the four stroke but if you compare 240 modified to a stock m1000 that is unfair comparison. Pretty sure my m1000 which runs at a cosistent 20psi will destroy a reprogrammed 1100t. Is it reliable bet your a$$ it is. The only debate is a fair comparison with both sleds side by side on the same day same snow.

It just so happens the guy thats yelling has a cherry 09 TM1000 for sell for $11000. I am having a hard time not buying it. I know the sled and its a torque monster. So whats cheaper now.
