17 174 Axys is 442 lbs...

Go to RMSHA.COM click on "points" click on "2016" scroll right until you get to "Stock 600" or "Stock 800" point .... I was posting a score sheet for the "stock class"

DPG

You've never raced before so why would you act like you know so much and keep comparing $hit that's not comparable and actually just continually sounding so dumb? What Toms said is correct and I can't read either pic. Doesn't matter what the pic tho.

Keith Curtis's end of season results.
Not bad for a season. This isn't just one weekend. This is for the SEASON.
This is all 5 of the classes that he enters.
He won 4 classes and got 2nd in the other.

✔️ 600 Stock Points Champion
✔️ 1000 Stock Points Champion
✔️ 800 Modified Points Champion
✔️ Open Modified Points Champion
✔️ 2nd place Stock 800.

Imagine the times Keith could put up on a Ski-Doo! He'd be unstoppable.

I'm kinda joking but those times have a lot to say about the rider, not so much the sled.

I imagine if he wanted to ride a doo they would snap him up.........
It appears he doesn't......... FWIW.

Yes, BUT, in the context of the "The Axys isn't as good of a hillclimb sled as the Pro" conversation, I think the RMSHA results throughout the season sorta debunk that.

Regardless, Keith does very well every year. It is no surprise to see him with those titles. Blaine Mathews on a Ski-doo also had a very good year.

So now with a turbo and fuel the 174 should be 545+- a few lbs.. Not bad:present:

Last time I talked with Impuse they said they found the new poo motor to love boost.. This sure could be a sled worth trying out in the steep and deep next year

Ya the Polaris 174 weighs one pound more than the doo 850 165. Big fat over weight trail sled lol

If Doo had put the 14lb lighter 800 ETEC in the G4 chassis, it would be 15 lb lighter... The 154 would be 420 LB with some superb reliablity and strength.. :juggle:

The 850 is really 14 pounds heavier then the Etec??? That would make it 30+ pounds heavier then the Axys motor

I think the 850 will get lighter as time goes along w the g 4 chassis going on a diet. 850 does have the power!

The 850 crank is 2.5 lbs lighter
The throttle bodies are 10% lighter
The direct injection assembly is 1 lb lighter.

So they added 17.5+ lbs to the jugs? Lol. That don't sound right.

Yeah, apparently.. On the Rotax website the 800 etec is listed at 35.6KG, and the 850 at 42.2KG.. Not sure if that is just the block or everything that goes along with it, such as pipes and electronics

I asked tony Jenkins about that. He said the 850 weight includes everything to make it run as far as electronics and all that goes. But I doubt that's 14 lbs more unless that includes the oil and fuel pumps?
