Last year I pulled a moldy sandwich out of my pack about halfway through the summer. Last week I found what used to be a string cheese stick still sealed in the bag, but shrunken and marinating in some sort of cheese goo.

I would have to say a sandwhich a couple years back. I left it in there from about march/april to the next season in December. A good 8 or 9 months to marinate. It left a stench in my pack so bad that I cant stand it today. Good thing I upgraded bags this year.

Looking in my seat bag, I found a moldy glove in a Ziploc bag last week. HAHA.
I'm afraid to look in my muffpot.

Left a banana in an outside pocket a couple years ago. Found it prepping for last year. Mostly dead as night black with a good 5 o-clock shadow of mold. Got it out, zipped it back up, haven't used that pocket since. Glad it wasn't much of a useable space anyway.

Now that I think of it, I was looking in my seat for some stuff and found that a bag of Chex Mix had spilled at some point and got wet. I was a solid brick of gross haha. I had to break it into pieces to get it all out. Then I had to get the shop vac to finish off the job.

Banana

I bought an avalanche airbag so I hadn't used my old pack for a while. Got it out to loan to a buddy and found a banana that had gotten squished and had been there for a while. Also had a bunch of jolly ranchers in my pack that had gotten wet and stuck to everything. Got it mostly cleaned out but still a little funky, now its just a loaner.
